You can always try a product called FTP Wizard:
http://www.SeekfordSolutions.com/Products/FTPWizard/It lets you upload and download files as well as get directory results in an easy to access object.
There are also other activex controls provided by other vendors that may help you accomplish the same @ mabry or west wind
