I got a lot further with it now thanks but it still doesn't work. It's the output parameter that it doesn't like. If I make the output parameter char and just output a string of text it works fine. If I use Int or numeric it errors.
I can't seem to specify the precision and scale of adnumeric or the size of adInt in an acceptable way.
