As I said that statement might be interpreted in 2 different ways :
"cannot be set to true (.T.)"
1) You cannot do it
2) You might do it but no effect
I actually utilize that and would be unpleased if accepted as a bug.

In my example code, right click on each combo. The first shows the ReadOnly property as .F., the second shows the ReadOnly property to be .T., yet both can be changed.
