VFP 3.0 help write:

Available only in FoxPro for MSDOS. In Visual FoxPro, FoxPro for Windows and FoxPro for Macintosh, the function SYS(2008) comes ignored.

Keyboard insertion point have only SET CURSOR ON/OFF support and SelStart.

I think very hard replace it on VFP also with Windows API interface.
