I just ran into
this article at the entrance of the UT.
To save you the trip to the article, it talks about a beach in vancouver that's now a wireless hotspot, and you can get out of your stuffy office and get connected out there in the middle of nature.
It's not the first time I see this kind of stupidity, and for that reason, it's becoming harder and harder to ignore.
While I agree that technically it's really cool to have a wireless network going on like this, what good does it do if you can't really see ANYTHING on a laptop screen while outdoors?
I guess now it's easier to tell who's an idiot and who isn't just by counting the laptops at the poolside.
