Well, with a separate validation function, based on data in tables, this would be possible.
If this is not feasible for you, well, and if you insist on using field-level and row-level validation, I really don't know - but perhaps you can create a function that extracts this information from the database.

dbgetprop("Field") and dbgetprop("Table") seem to be appropriate for this purpose.
