In general you put a real UDF call in there that allows you to handle a shutdown request properly.

>That's what I was afraid of. I've put the command ON SHUTDOWN * in the ACTIVATE method of the inital toolbar which remains active during the entire application and it hasn't changed anything. The .exe still shuts down as soon as the last form is closed. As Cindy suggested, it's probably something within the Codmine framework that's shutting it down and I haven't been able to find it.
