I wrote a financial trading system using VFP6 and SQL2000. The website is at www.finspreads.com - since moved on I'm afraid. This is (or was) a 2-tier development with logic progressively moving from VFP to SQL Server.

Many people make a big mistake with SQL and just use it like a big data server, and not as the database server it really is. The code to manipulate the data should always be as close to the data as possible, hence my migration.
