Title:
Pushing the limits?
Hi everyone,
I am trying to write a software, where I a lot of graphics. Maybe FoxPro is not the ideal to, but that is what I know so that is what I am using. I am simulating a CAD program, and drawing rooms etc. using container objects as the foundation for the rooms. I place objects in these rooms, and analyse the room in various ways.
Nos, is it possible for me to do the following:
1. Create object of irregular shapes? (Right now I am using container objects and try to put them together.)
2. Draw triangles? I could do it with three lines, but I need to colour the inside with a separate colour. Are there any ActiveX components not native to Fox I could use, possibly?
3. I noticed that the 'line' method does not apply to container objects. Is there any other way I can draw lines on a container, apart from adding line objects?
4. If I end up with a graphical picture on my screen, made up of objects etc., is there any way I can send this to the printer, apart from printscreen?
Any suggestions welcome.
Steven
