Unfortunately Michel, in this particular instance it is VFP that is not standard. - After some lengthy dicussions with Distinct I have found that MS have refused to take VFP 5.0s OCX compatability to same level as VB 5.0s.

Which has resulted in Distinct stating that all current forms of VFP are no longer supported by themselves. - In this particular instance certain events were not firing correctly and yet they work perfectly under VB. - Perhaps this will be fixed in Tahoe?
