Title:
ASPCOMPAT Loophole?
A VFP8 COM .DLL, if called from an ASP.NET page, must have "aspcompat=true" or Bad Things™ will happen.
I was polishing up a VFP8 Queued Component for a seperate project, and was just thinking that the COM+ QC Recorder is actually truly multithreaded (isn't it?). From there, I was thinking that if I modified my VFP classes to work as full QC's, then I could use them from my .aspx.cs without having to modify every .aspx page with the "aspcompat" flag.
Does that make sense to anyone out there?
