I have tried this to get a distinct picture for each list item:

Thisform.cboCombo.Picture[1] = 'C:\EXCEL.ICO'
Thisform.cboCombo.Picture[2] = 'C:\WORD.ICO'

it originally displays the icon but when I click on the combo box to check the unique picture for each item it shows none and then the original picture also disappears.

Tests with Thisform.cboCombo.Picture[Thisform.cboCombo.ListIndex] will actually put a picture on each item when you opened the combo box but it always puts the same picture.
