By all means - jump in! I kind of like using the integer primary keys, mostly due to their compactness (4 per). It's more of a pain to look elsewhere to assign them but that logic gets "black boxed" so I don't have to think about it.

The issue went beyond the primary key issue into any old free table. I was able to reproduce the same "issue" when two users changed the same description field for an inventory item. It appears to happen with ANY free table - not just the one I use to get my primary keys.

I can tell that I've run into a "wall" - now I'm just bashing my head against it repeatedly to see exactly how hard it is <g>.
