Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't offer any other ideas.

Frankly, I've found Help Workshop to be a pretty horrible tool to try and figure out. I've been using Help Builder from West Wind, which makes this a lot easier. The only time I've ever seen the error you're getting is with the VFP help file, when they named it something other than FOXHELP.CHM.

>Thanks for the reply. I've tried what you suggest, but keep getting an error: "HH_HELP_CONTEXT called without a [MAP] section." For testing purposes I've been using the solution.chm that came with my installation of VFP. It has both an [ALIAS] and a [MAP] section, and the associated "include" files, but still generates the error. I've tried editing the [ALIAS] and [MAP] sections, but that crashes the hhw.exe, so no changes can be saved. I can edit the "include" files using a text editor, but continue to get the error. Not sure what to try next. Any thoughts?
