Since I upgraded to vfp8 (by the way I LOVE IT!!) I have a grid that acts as though it is in ReadOnly, specifically when I load the tables that have existing values.

But when I generate the Values in the table, then the grid works fine and I can change the data on the Grid.

Of course I have checked and the Grid is NOT in ReadOnly and the Tables are not used with NoUpdate. I can change the values in a Browse window, which will then change the value on the grid.

But when I try to change the same value on the grid itself, it seems as though it is "un-Changble". For example, to change a Checkbox, if I just click on it, it doesn't change, but when I put
this.value=!this.value
in the click() event of the checkbox, then it works!!

What new property am I missing ?. This used to work just fine in vfp5.
