I would prefer the term "multi-threaded", since "free threaded" usually refers to COM as the counterpart to "apartment threaded" (which still is misleading as free-threaded objects run in a multi-threaded apartment). No wonder threading has a reputation of being hard to grasp with all these ambigious terms. <g>
