>hi all,
>
>i have a form which displays information about a person. on this form i have several command buttons, one of which is a FIND button.
>
>when the user clicks on the FIND button, i am showing another form on top of the first form and on this new form i am giving the user different options by which he could find a record viz. by first name, surname, passport #, etc.
>
>if a user selects to find by name or surname he is asked to input the value to be found and a search is made in the table for the closest match.
>
>in some cases, there may be a list of people having the same name/surname and so i am displaying the list of names in a grid which is in the top form.
>
>what i now want to achieve is when the user scrolls up/down in the grid on the top form, i want to display the corresponding details of the person who is being highlighted in the grid in the form that displays the full information.

>how do i achieve this ?

>with sincere thanks.
