Sorry perhaps I didn't explain properly. I don't want to submit the values of the input boxes. I want to submit a text value which will depend on the choices made in the input boxes. So I've got some javascript that checks the value of the check boxes and then assigns a specific value to a hidden text field. The exact value depends on the choices made in the checkboxes.
The field I'm trying to change the value of is a text field.
