I created a form, put a pgf on it, dropped a cmd on page 1, opened the form in a browse window and changed the command button (row 5) parent from form1.pageframe1.page1 to form1.pageframe1, effectively trying to put the button into the pageframe which is illegal.

When trying to run the form it throws the error on row 5, to tell me that item can not be put into whatever the parent column is pointing at.

So on your record 1671 what are your values for Class, Classloc, Baseclass, ObjName and Parent?

>Thanks David, no we don't ever hack the vcx, only to try and fix problems and we haven't had any up to now. We haven't done any redefining either. The form has a container on which we have a grid but apart from that there's nothing particularly complex about it all.
