I have this problem as well.

DODEFAULT()
_screen.MousePointer=0
to my frmformcustom.backgroundrefresh

I will definately give this a try. Just curious, how in the world did you figure this out? (could it be that Lexington Style BBQ.... hmmmmm... I had Mr. Barbecue in W-S yesterday).
