Sorry I'm a bit confused with the subject: either we are talking about setting a mouse cursor, or you want to set a shape for that blinking line, which indicates the place where text will be typed in TextBox or EditBox?

For setting a mouse cursor there's no need for any advice -- use MouseIcon property.

For the blinking line -- this is a caret. Carets have a separate set of API functions.
