The .EXE for VS2001 is 'devenv.exe,' and immediately after I fired it up just now it used 26,196K (that number, BTW, is climbing slowly but steadily with VS just sitting there doing nothing).

VFP8.EXE, OTOH, is using 11,848K, and that's with a few projects open.
