Well, I hope you have no pitfalls... we are running many servers, and maintain a constant watch with various firewall protections and Symantic. With SQL2000, the only 'pitfall' we have is insuring any new security leaks are identified promptly - to praise the big bear : Microsoft has been pretty good about identifying those leaks.
