BCP is certainly an option, especially if there were a lot of rows. I expect only 200 to 300 per month to be moved by this process. I'm trying to keep control within the VFP application to facilitate management of any exceptions. The VFP remote view works very well in this capacity and requires almost no code. It's a pity it doesn't garner more respect! Thanks for your suggestion though.
