Which the usefulness of informing Home of the Project in Project Manager?

I don't get to understand which its real usefulness.

I thought that once informed the HOME, VFP would consider him as the DEFAULT directory and all the sub-directories as the PATH, but this not is happening because I still have to write SET DEFAULT TO and SET PATH TO in the main file of my application.

I think that VFP doesn't consider the information that this in HOME as it would owe.

Will it be that I am letting to pass something?
