Hi John,

I have a customer using and old FPW2.6a app that does the same thing on his XP Home computers. I have had no problems with XP PRO.

Another thing to check is that the nominated file server is XP also, because if it is WIN98 with XP workstations you will get missing and corrupt files.

Regards

>I have problem that, VFP return "error reading file" once my application try to access the opened table after idle for persiod of time. After the error occured, my application will quit. User try to run my application again, this time VFP will return "FILE ....dbc does not exist." It will be "Recovered" only after a couple of tries of re-launch the application.
