Hello ,

I have an application under development in which i need to provide the Query option, the only queried records should be available in crystal reports,

For this I made some of the tries, as follows :
May be I am wrong...

1) I created a view in data designer and passed the queried records into that by recreating the view again, but if I recreate the view the records are not passed into the crystal reports, I have also noticed one things that is whenever I am creating the view from a command window it dosen't gets updated in the crystal reports, I have tried many options from crystal reports , like : refresh report data, verify database , but nothing worked. - So - I tried by another way

2) Instead of using the views, I tried it by using the tables, and it worked but in my application whenever the report runs it automatically transferes the database from exclusive to shared mode and that's why I am unable to re-zap the table whenever I re-zapped the table
