I Have a new clue... I think this is probably an easy one but I don't know it...

If you are joining two tables on fied A, and field A has a value in table 1 and is null in table 2...

The where clause is "where 1.a <> 2.a" and in VFP6 this is returning the records, in VFP8 it is not!

Any new thoughts???
