I'm about to suggest a client of mine have promotional shots of their web site flipping away every few seconds in their storefront window.

I don't know if LCD's will survive in direct sunlight - will they burn out or something? Should I just go for one with the highest contrast ration I can find? Maybe I should just go with an old monitor instead?
