>It's time for people to wake up and smell the coffee. The health of FoxPro is condition critical. How many people here are finding difficulties getting work in Visual FoxPro. I have heard rumors of some fox MVP types having trouble getting work.

FWIW, I've only worked as a private consultant / programmer (since clipper days) on the side. My Primary work has always been as an employee in one sector or another; sometimes as a production planner, inventory manager, programmer, PDM, etc..
Anyway, from the commercial software I have seen in my adventures, and also the canned 'cutomized' software I've seen, my bet is on VFP 8. It can beat some stuff that I've seen sell for mega bucks.
On the other hand, selling that to a client is a problem.
