I think I may be closing in on what you're getting at, but I'm not entirely sure. Are you saying that the code in the button does not order the form closed?

How would it work? Does the button click raise flag being polled by the form? Don't like that very much. Does the button click maybe raise an event that the form is listening for? I like that a bit better, but it seems a bit roundabout. Should the 'me' keyword only show up in form methods?

If, ultimately, the code in the button click event is 'me.close()', then I agree with George that the syntax itself - not the object model, just the syntax - feels a bit less than intuitive.
