>....when attempting to activate two modelesss forms? In other words we can not activate two forms simultaneously but for selected forms only. These are transaction forms that uses RVs, SPT, CursorAdapters and static native tables. BTW, our backend is SQL Server 2000.

A few hints:

From 8.x documentation : Behavior Changes Since Visual FoxPro 7.0
"Clicking the Visual FoxPro desktop causes the form's Deactivate event to occur and deactivates an active user form"

Have you check that your cursoradapter objects persist neatly. Coming back and forth and having your cursorAdapter objects disappear when TABLEUPDATE is issued may create havoc.

Check the combination of both two hints as well.

Other than that, i'm stuck. VFP 8 is the most stable vpf i have used. But yes i recently moved a heavy vfp app up to 8.x and i encountered a significant bug... one only but a BIG ONE (on date management - non english localization). Had to turn the beast around. The whole app runs neatly now.

Good luck in you bug hunting. I'm sure that you'll find out :)
