I wouldn't expect to see much of a difference especially since the QA uses ODBC. Are you using the same login for both the app and QA? What happens if you force the stored proc to recompile?

We have discovered that one of the queries in the sp takes a significant amount of time to run when the sp is called from fox. When the sp is run in Query Analyzer, the one query that took a long time before now runs much faster (by an order of magnitude).
