make a backup of your forms, USE TheForm.SCX and browse the Properties memo field. Look for lines where you are using a property name that conflicts with new properties that VFP8 added or lines that have assignments with = in them. You can edit the memo as long as you don't do things like put extra line breaks etc. Then see if you can open the form in the designer.
