In general, you need to redirect one of the standard DOS printer ports (PRN, LPT1, etc.) to the USB printer. The following works on Windows NT/2K/XP but I don't know if it works on 9x/Me:
- Make the USB printer shared
- use the NET USE command from a command prompt to redirect the DOS port to the shared printer:
NET USE PRN \\MachineName\USB001
