I use GENDBC to create a PRG file of code. I then modify that code as needed for the new location, DBC name, etc. After I run the code to create the new DBC, tables, etc., I then APPEND data FROM the tables in the original DBC. I automate this by looping through the ADBOBJECTS(laTables, 'TABLE').

>The movedbc.app program does not seem to work in 8.0. While it doesn't happen every time it seems that much too frequently it causes tables to get corrupted when I use it. If I run the APP in either 6.0 or 7.0 it works great every time. Any feedback from anyone? Does anyone have a better utility for moving a DBC?
