Thanks - Puffed Chest Out (s) I shouldn't complain in that in all other respects the application runs great. Approx. 15 users hitting it extremely hard daily since last September, sends approximately 150-200 faxes daily using FAXPRESS from within VFP, uses ole automation with both Excel and Word for reports and letter writing, has never having a table corrupted and has been up 24 hours a day except the times when I needed to make table stucture changes, runs circles around the AS400 it replaced in term of functionality and useability.

I'll talk to the IT guys tomorrow and see if they can track what is happening, as I too believe it is related to the network. Knowing that it is not VFP related, will embolden my case.

VFP is really a great tool and I thank you Sergey for all your help.

>>Sergey - Thanks I was beginning to feel abandoned. I did some futher testing on their network myself. Sometimes all the records are appended and the next time I run the program only a portion of the records are append.

>I wouldn't blame it on tab delimited files. VFP would process SDF or delimited file until it encounters EOF marker or end of file from OS.
