I have a report where I need to summerize a field based on the value of another field. The table have two values for this field. Adequate and Inadequate. I need to do a breakdown of the length field for those two values.

I used the function iif(Road_crown = 'Adequate', length, 0) for adequate and
iif(road_crown = 'Inadequate', length,0) for Inadaquate. Both of these are summed in the calculations tab.

This seams to work when there is a value greater than 0 for both fields however if one does not occur in the table the report gets messed up. The number 0 does not always print out. Is there a better way to do this?
