Hope you don't mind if I chime in. I logged in to see how the conference went. From reading between the lines, I am gathering that attendance was down. I was somewhat upset that I missed it. I personally had several reasons for not attending.

The primary reason was that Sunday was father's day. I couldn't fly out on Sunday and I would have lost Monday by flying in from Florida. At which point, cost did become a factor. I didn't want to spend a day flying, pay what I feel is a little pricey for 2 days, and spend the fourth day flying back.

Secondly, I honestly thought I would be bored in Palm Springs. There were Advisor conferences in Las Vegas the last couple of weeks. Advisor should have had FoxPro's DevCon parallel the other conferences. One of my co-workers was in Las Vegas last week for a tele-communications conference and said it was great.

I'm getting the feeling that Advisor is pushing the FoxPro sector of their business the same way MicroSoft does.
