>Hi Michael,

>I'm not sure, but I do know that NT4 is not listed as supported in our docs. There are a number of issues. For example, VFP 8 relies on GDI+ and the XML DOM version 3+. Neither of these are supported on most (if not all) NT4 service packs.

I understand, since NT4 is not supported , any deployment of the existing applications will be on my own risk, let alone new development. But if my only intended usage of VFP8 is to assign backcolor to some buttons on a toolbar for the existing VFP7 application and I've already checked it and XMLtoCursor() inside this application does work also, am I quite safe? Sorry, could not resist asking such a silly question though it is quite clear that no assurances can be given.

>>>OK - bottom line. You can forget installing VFP on NT4 for development reasons. There is an issue with runtime apps under NT4 that will be noted in the release readme notes. As it stands, I wouldn't plan on rolling out VFP apps for the NT4 platform.
