Thanks for your response. Yes, eReports.dll, ePDFDirector.dll and vfpcom.dll. It is very specific in it's search for ereports.vcx at compile time.

I even fooled the compiler by using
oReport
= EVALUATE('NEWOBJECT("eReportsPDF", "eReports.dll", "eReports.dll")')

then it doesn't try to resolve it until I run the EXE.

Again it works fine running from VFP Development and I looked at the result in Debug and it successfully returns an object

I was looking at the properties of eReports.dll and it apparently is an EXE file converted to a DLL. Regsrvr32 also does not recognise it. The files I downloaded yesterday are quite new (06/04/03) so there may be a problem with that dll.

As an aside I also had to copy the frx to an frx outside of the DBC in order to make it work. Similar to the suggestion you gave to someone else the other day.
