set up a peer to peer workgroup with a hub or crossover cable connecting the two computers in the office and if possible get a dsl or isdn link to the third computer using pc anywhere or some other remote desktop program, vnc perhaps as it is free.

A friend of mine wants to network two PC's in their office and a 3rd which is located about 40 miles away.

The program they wish to share is a DOS based Veterinarian program (which the programmer assured me was able to shared the data files).

The PC's all use Windows 98.

What would you suggest? (besides a bullet for me??).
