I haven't used FoxFire! since the Fox2x days. Since it's based on the VFP report engine, you're pretty much limited to what that gives you. However, I talked to Chick at Essential Fox and I was impressed by what he showed me for the new version.
The big things I like about Crystal Reports over the VFP report designer are subreports, drilldown, graphing, and full programmatic control. Every object on the report can be accessed and manipulated in code. I like what I've heard about the changes coming in Europa, but I don't expect the full capabilities of Crystal Reports.

>I've been using FoxFire for some time and am pretty happy with it. Most of the time when I hear from endusers it's because some new data item is not available in Foxfire yet.
