Temp1 is supposed to be part of the database. Apparently, I managed to solve this problem. But after I compiled the executable and ran it in the currently directory, it works fine. If I moved to another folder with all the necessary files, it doesn't work.

It's supposed to display a slash screen and determines whether to use the sample or live data before prompting the user to enter his/her username and password. I don't even get the splash screen after I moved it to a new folder and I don't why this is happending.

I tried debugging, but no luck. Any suggestions? TIA
