>I have a listbox on a form whose rowsource is a list of fields from a table and whose rowsource type is fields. The table may or may not have deleted records, however, I have noticed that even with SET DELETED OFF, I cannot see any marking of whether or not a record is marked for deletion. What is a simple yet reliable way of annotating that a record is marked for deletion? Should another column be added manually to the listbox to denote the deleted status? Is that the only way? I must be overlooking something I'm sure...

Tracy,
What about using an SQL rowsource ? You could easily add 'Deleted' or alike.
