The people that have spent 1 1/2 years would be in the category known as early adopters.
The real hockey stick part of the curve has yet to occur. The people in the later stages have the real advantage of learning from the early adopters.
As you can in the UT headlines Kevin has released Mere Mortals for .NET. I am perfecting dataclas/net and the framework that goes with it. Markus is working a framework and the list goes on.
Like max, myself and others have said: Now's the time.
FWIW, Fox people are going to have a real advantage over a lot of VB programmers. VFP programmers come with the knowledge of the pitfalls that should be avoided when moving to oop. This advantage is going away over time though.
