When I drop a textbox on a form and do not bind it to a cursor the length of the value if it is always longer than the text that is in it. The value is always padded with spaces.

I need to get the value of the textbox including any spaces that the user added to the end so trimming the value will not work. I need the textbox to return "some value " if that is what they typed in (note trailing space).

I get the same behaviour from my subclassed textboxes or just base VFP textboxes. The maxlen property has not been set and I am using VFP 7 if it matters.
