I check that, I have had users get that in Excel and took your idea and looked at the database. The fields have plenty of room.

However this would happen in old fields, where the data that has been there is replaced by ##########. This is usually picked up when a user exits the datebase and is given an error referring to a table. When I open the table is see the #########, and then restore the data from a backup that goes on that line. I was wondering if anyone else knew what would cause this.
