I'm using VFP 7.0

My code is crashing on the line:
if ll       & error 11 : Function argument value, type, or count is invalid.

When tracing through my code the locals window shows:
ll = .F.

but when I hang the cursor over ll in the trace window it shows:
ll = "1053104173 "
