just in case anyone is looking at this in future, i just dropped the following dll's into the folder (msvcr70.dll,gdiplus.dll,vfp8r.dll,vfp8t.dll,vfp8renu.dll,msxml3.dll,msxml3r.dll,msxml3a.dll) with my application and it ran. i did not install anything just copied and pasted onto a pc without vfp8 and it ran fine first time.

>i know that someone must have asked this before but does anyone know the list of dll's to use in vfp8 and where to put them? i copied all dll's under the vfp8 directory and pasted them into the runtime program folder and the windows\system32 folder. i could try also pasting them into all other relevant folders around the windows folders but i don't like the brute force approach.
